Save the Gray Whales from EXXON!

Fewer than one hundred individuals remain of the Western North Pacific Gray Whale population. In the summer months, these whales feed off the east coast of Russia near a northeastern island, Sakhalin. However, a new oil exploration project, spearheaded by Exxon Corporations, is being undertaken off Sakhalin Island, only 10 to 20 Km from the whales’ primary feeding grounds. Unless we can convince Exxon to delay the project, the seismic surveys may spell doom for the entire Western Gray Whale population. This will displace them from their vital feeding grounds as well as affect their breeding success. Please help make a difference in these Gray Whales’ existence. Time is of the essence!
