Dive the Bay Islands with Ken Nichols & Pat Johnson

Thirty miles off the coast of Honduras lies a collection of beautiful mountainous islands, Roatan, Guanaja and Utilla. Collectively known as the Bay Islands, this unspoiled underwater paradise boasts some of the Western Caribbean's finest diving. Lush reefs, sheer walls and mystical wrecks are home to a vast array of marine life large and small-turtles, eels, grouper, sea horses, frog fish and nudibranches. The Bay Islands' abundance of colorful, tiny critters has earned her the nickname "Macro Capital of the World" by underwater photographers. The enchantment of the Bay Islands is further enhanced by the crew and amenities aboard the 120-foot live-aboard, the Bay Islands Aggressor IV. This 20-passenger floating dive resort offers seven-day, dive adventures departing from a private dock at Parrot Tree Plantation Resort on the island of Roatan.

If you arrive on Saturday, a crew member will greet you at airport and bring you to the boat. Guests may board the Bay Islands Aggressor IV Saturday afternoon after 2:00 p.m., unpack, relax and enjoy delicious dinner served by the onboard chef. Sunday morning the Aggressor moves to the first of many excellent dives sites. Divers are awakened by the smells of coffee and a home cooked breakfast. After a dive briefing, the pool is open-no boat rides, no hassles. You may want to capture some of the Bay Islands' underwater marvels on film with one of the onboard rental cameras. There is a full line of rental camera equipment and dive gear available throughout the week as well as certification and specialty courses. With the on board E-6 photo lab, guests may view their slides just hours after they were shot.

After exploring the regions best dive sites including Port Royal, the wreck of the Jado Trader and Toon Town off Cayos Cochinos, the Bay Islands Aggressor IV returns to Parrot Tree Friday afternoon. Guests may take advantage of some of the add-on packages such as a tour of Roatan, horseback riding, parasailing or you can just relax on board until the evening cocktail party hosted by the crew. After the party, everyone will dine at a local restaurant. This is the only meal not included in the charter. Check-out is 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning. If you are flying out Saturday morning, the crew will arrange your transportation to the airport
