It was the neoliberalists and neoconservatives of this world that created Saddam Hussein, selling him the weapons needed to commit his worse crimes and supporting him while they were committed. The U.S. administration even continued to treat Saddam's regime as a favourite trading partner after the fact. And now they're trying to tell us they should be the ones to fix the problem?!
