P10K Media Clause

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."
Albert Einstein

There are many otherwise good people who would wish to join the P10K Force who do not understand the destructive agenda of major corporate media. These people have good intentions but in their naiveté they are easily manipulated by experienced propagandists and that in turn can do great harm to the cause of Truth Justice & Peace. This is a reality that P10K organizers cannot ignore.

During the Human Shield Action to Iraq some of these otherwise good people did serious harm to the mission of the Human Shields by unwittingly (and sometimes knowingly) feeding the corporate media agenda that intended to marginalize and ridicule Human Shields. The media then argued that we were merely pawns of Saddam Hussein and effectively supporting a mass murderer.

For P10K the agenda for the major corporate media will largely be to establish that we are aiding the “terrorists” and threatening the “security” of Israel. There are many leading questions for them to ask to solicit the comments that support this agenda. Understanding this we also acknowledge the sanctity of freedom of speech; thus we have no intention of barring people from freely speaking, but with the exercising of rights comes responsibilities.

In order to protect our mission we require that all P10K Force participants obtain a signed ‘P10K Force Media Contract’ from the agent(s) wishing to interview them. In this contract the media agent(s) will sign a legal contract obligating them and/or their employer to supply P10K Headquarters in London with any and all publicized stories that result from the interview within one week of airing or publishing (whether it be video, audio or written). In this way P10K organizers can monitor what has been publicized and if the material is unrepresentative of P10K’s stated Mission or the P10K Force participant has grossly misstated the mission of P10K then we will exercise the option of officially boycotting the media corporation involved and/or possibly excluding the P10K Force participant from official participation within the action. Should any P10K Force participant fail to acquire a completed P10K Force Media Contract before conducting an interview (without a verifiably valid reason) then they may be excluded as a P10K Force participant, particularly if their media contribution is damaging to P10K.
