Truth Justice Peace

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein

"We must use time wisely and forever realize that the time is always ripe to do right."
Nelson Mandela

In my experience the Truth can be very painful indeed, but once faced it becomes the greatest source of contentedness and empowerment.

For myself facing the Truth meant acknowledging I was effectively an indoctrinated and brainwashed modern slave; I had always thought I was smarter then that. But I looked deeper and identified substantially blind ignorance of my birth nation's legacy; and while in that state I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Ultimately I participated in the 1991 Gulf Slaughter which I later realized was in effect direct participation in crimes against humanity; crimes that included the horrific use of Depleted Uranium, Cluster Bombs and the shameless targeting of civilian infrastructure (power plants, water treatment plants, etc). All tolled this resulted in the mass murder of unknown thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians and hundreds of thousands of equally innocent Iraqi conscripts.

But you know what, I am by no means alone; we all bear guilt unless you are one of the very few who have refused to pay taxes (fund war). If not then you too have funded similar crimes against humanity and mass murder. It is our money that funds our bloody policies... protests and petitions notwithstanding.

We are collectively responsible for the crimes of our nations and it is high time we owned up to these crimes. That is the first phase in the process of achieving peace; the Truth. We must face the Truth no matter how painful because ignorance of a crime has never been a legitimate defence; our ignorance is no different. "Decent Germans" of World War II Nazi Germany know exactly what I am saying here.

Only when we are truthful, taking full responsibility for the legacies of our nations can we affect the second phase of true peace; Justice. Until then we are hypocrites. Chanting gloriously useless incantations to peace makes us hypocritical mockeries of ourselves; and this hypocrisy prohibits Justice (not vengeance).

Justice demands due process of law with absolute respect for Inherent Human Rights. Its quite simple really, not nearly as complex as our "experts" and "leaders" would have us believe

Peace... Peace is the final phase of a process and only attainable through this three step, sequential process. 2004; here we find ourselves confronting ever increasing global ecological destruction and insane weapons proliferation with global nuclear annihilation a constant possibility. We simply cannot maintain our current path; it is tantamount to collective suicide. We will destroy ourselves unless we awake from our collective state of insanity and compel a better world.

If you have brought children into this world then you have an undeniable moral obligation to wake up and face the Truth, and to then act. If you have no children you still have future generations and our beautiful Planet Earth to fight for; and if that is not worth fighting for then nothing is.

Truth Justice & Peace is the only answer, Palestine is the place. -Ken O'Keefe
