Astoundingly there are massive queues for petrol in Iraq; this was not the case under Saddam and it really pisses people off that they now pay much more for something that was (pre-invasion) available freely and cheaply. Queues can be a mile or more and last as long as two days!; and you are limited to 30 liters.

One of the main income opportunities for Iraqi's is taxi service and "Liberation" is not the word any Iraqi would use to describe income potential post invasion; unless you are one of the token Iraqi's that hit the big time with Bechtel.
