This woman will always remain a massive inspiration to me. She volunteered as a Human Shield; but her story is that of tremendous courage and love well beyond the norm.

She and her family are from Iraq and Namaa was forced to leave her homeland because of her outspoken support for woman's and human rights in the newly Saddam controlled Iraq. She was told explicitly by the Saddam regime to leave or she would be dead, so she reluctantly left.

Than she requested permission from Saddam himself to come back after 30 years to be with her family and act as a Human Shield; Saddam said yes, and that is why we met;

Namaa has got more balls than most men I have ever met and a heart as pure as anyone I know. Honored to have her as a friend to say the least.
