"If violence is wrong in America, violence is wrong abroad. If it is wrong to be violent defending black women and black children and black babies and black men, then it is wrong for America to draft us, and make us violent abroad in defense of her. And if it is right for America to draft us, and teach us how to be violent in defense of her, then it is right for you and me to do whatever is necessary to defend our own people right here in this country." - Malcolm X

The inevitable sorrow of a conscientious soul combined with the knowledge of the power of the people. Fuck just crying about injustice, let's fucking do something about it... now! That is the philosophy I have adopted in life.

I will not deny for one second that I do feel tremendous pain for all the horrible realities of our world, if anything I am wearing my heart on my sleeve. But this pain is powerful, and I have effectively combined it with a healthy dose of justifiable anger. Together the powerful emotion and wisdom of these symbols represent my will to work for a new and just reality.

"Usually when people are sad, they don't do anything. They just cry over their condition. But when they get angry, they bring about a change." - Malcolm X
