REGISTER - WORLD CITIZENSHIP

All registered world citizens will receive the World Citizen Card, laminated and in 7 languages: English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Chinese and Esperanto. The possession of this card is evidence of a global political status allied with each and every other declared and registered World Citizen. You will join the fast growing ranks of world citizens that now surpasses one million! Ask yourself, are you truly content and loyal to your state government? Or are you one of the rapidly growing number of people who realize that the human race and our planet deserve the allegiance currently being provided to corrupt nation/state governments. World Citizenship does not require you to renounce your nation/state citizenship, but of course that is always a powerful and revolutionary option.

The recent World Summit in Johannnesburg and the unlawful invasion of Iraq provides yet another example of what the "democratically elected representatives" of our world think of our planet and indeed us, their "citizens." We the People must challenge ourselves and our hugely destructive path and employ non-violent civil disobediance in all forms to avoid the coming disaster. Becoming a World Citizen is a powerful and ethically sound first step.

World Citizen passport of Ken Nichols O'Keefe

CREDO OF A WORLD CITIZEN
A World Citizen is a human being who lives intellectually, morally and physically in the present. A World Citizen accepts the dynamic fact that the planetary human community is interdependent and whole, that humankind is essentially one. A World Citizen is a peaceful and peacemaking individual, both in daily life and contacts with others. As a global person, a World Citizen relates directly to humankind and to all fellow humans spontaneously, generously and openly. Mutual trust is basic to his/her lifestyle. Politically, a World Citizen accepts a sanctioning institution of representative government, expressing the general and individual sovereign will in order to establish and maintain a system of just and equitable world law with appropriate legislative, judiciary and enforcement bodies. A World Citizen brings about better understanding and protection of different cultures, ethnic groups and language communities by promoting the use of a neutral international language, such as Esperanto. A World Citizen makes this world a better place to live in harmoniously by studying and respecting the viewpoints of fellow citizens from anywhere in the world.

AFFIRMATION
I, the undersigned, do hereby, willingly and consciously, declare myself to be a Citizen of the World. As a World Citizen, I affirm my planetary civic commitment to WORLD GOVERNMENT, founded on three universal principles of One Absolute Value, One World, and One Humanity which constitute the basis of World Law. As a World Citizen I acknowledge the WORLD GOVERNMENT as having the right and duty to represent me in all that concerns the General Good of humankind and the Good of All. As a Citizen of World Government, I affirm my awareness of my inherent responsibilities and rights as a legitimate member of the total world community of all men, women, and children, and will endeavor to fulfill and practice these whenever and wherever the opportunity presents itself. As a Citizen of World Government, I recognize and reaffirm citizenship loyalties and responsibilities within the communal state, and/or national groupings consistent with the principles of unity above which constitute now my planetary civic commitment.

WORLD CITIZEN PASSPORT

The World Passport is a 40 page document printed in 7 languages: English, French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese and Esperanto. Each passport is numbered, each page contains the World Citizen logo as background. Four pages are reserved for affiliate identifiations: diplomatic corps, organizations, firms, etc. There are twenty seven visa pages. Inserted in the inside back cover is a complete medical history with blood type, vaccination record, allergies, etc., also space for home address, next of kin, doctor, insurances, driving license no. and national passport/identity number. The cover is blue with gold lettering.

The World Passport represents the inalienable human right of freedom of travel on planet Earth. Therefore it is premised on the fundamental oneness or unity of the human community.
In modern times, the passport has become a symbol of national sovereignty and control by each nation-state. That control works both for citizens within a nation and all others outside. All nations thus collude in the system of control of travel rather than its freedom. If freedom of travel is one of the essential marks of the liberated human being, as stated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, then the very acceptance of a national passport is the mark of the slave, serf or subject. The World Passport is therefore a meaningful symbol and sometimes powerful tool for the implementation of the fundamental human right of freedom of travel. By its very existence it challenges the exclusive assumption of sovereignty of the nation-state system. It is designed however to conform to nation-state requirements for travel documents. It does not, however, indicate the nationality of its bearer, only his/her birthplace. It is therefore a neutral, apolitical document of identity and potential travel document.

A passport gains credibility only by its acceptance by authorities other than the issuing agent. The World Passport in this respect has a track record of over 40 years acceptance since it was first issued. Today over 150 countries have visaed it on a case-by-case basis. In short, the World Passport represents the one world we all live in and on. No one has the right to tell you you can't move freely on your natural birthplace! So don't leave home without one!
