Universal Kinship Society/TJP Action

Universal Kinship refers to the origin in common for all life and the physical energy which is inherent in all life. Natural Laws make clear that energy does not perish with the physical body, energy which is the essence of life cannot die, it transfers. With this understanding the Universal Kinship Society (UKS) is a tribute to the living spirit of humanities enlightened souls, who despite their vast differences find uniformity in the"common cause" of Truth, Justice & Peace.

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." - Martin Luther King Jr.

From the dawn of "civilization" humanity has largely been in a collective deep sleep of the conscience, suppressing our collective conscience and leading us now to the brink of disaster we find ourselves today. UKS, the organization was founded in 1999 with the understanding that humanity is at the final crossroads between complete self-destruction or World Peace. The fulfillment of the latter requiring only the honoring of one simple truth, a truth of supremely profound simplicity that is witnessed and experienced in a natural law that governs us everyday in every way. It is the Natural Law of interconnectedness or oneness of all life, every life related and akin to all other life, throughout the universe. It is this oneness that unites us all. "Do unto others, as we would have them do unto us."

"Until he extends the circle of compassion to all living things, man will not himself find peace." - Dr. Albert Schweitzer

It is tragic in the extreme that World Peace has thus far been collectively and unwittingly relinquished to tyrannical power. Humanities superior power has instead been manipulated by a tiny minority of tyrants who desire the status quo of darkness and inequality. We need only face the fact that these same tyrants include the three richest individuals on the planet who have more wealth than the poorest 48 nations combined. This tragic reality is the result of our disconnected and divided state of existence.

"The only tyrant I accept in this world is the still voice within." - Mohandas K. Gandhi

It is these perversely elitist individuals who deem themselves superior to all life that blind so many of us with greed, ignorance, denial, and most of all fear. Having submitted to these base ideologies we have become pawns. We have voluntarily entered the ethical coma of conscienceness that rationalizes and justifies obscene wealth in the face of extreme poverty, starvation and violence around the globe. This is the price we pay for our comatose state, this is the shameful legacy we pass on to our children,... as it stands right now.

"If we don't stand for something, we may fall for anything." - Malcolm X

To break the cycle we must empower ourselves for it is the empowerment of people that these elitists fear most. Thus they have masterfully propagated misinformation and fear to keep us divided. Only by maintaining humanities ignorant state of fear and division can they maintain their control over us. Without it they are powerless. Fear of poverty, fear of punishment, fear of imprisonment, fear of death, these are the means to control us. Remove these fears and you have true freedom. Life is energy, energy is eternal, all things happen for a reason, thus fear of death is an expense of energy that those with wisdom do not indulge.

"As a well-spent day brings happy sleep, so a life well spent brings happy death." - Leonardo da Vinci
"A fear-stricken person can never know God, and one who knows God will never fear a mortal man." - Gandhi

What is there to fear in death? We should sooner fear regret for not having lived life to the fullest when we had the chance. All enlightened souls have understood these universal truth's and they have told us so, perhaps now we will listen, then act.

"It's really a wonder that I haven't dropped all my ideals, because they seem so absurd and impossible to carry out. Yet I keep them, because in spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart." - Anne Frank

"Power to the People."

Ken O'Keefe

Albert Einstein 1879-1955
"A human being is part of the whole, called by us the universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separate from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty..."
New York Post, Nov. 28th 1972

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi 1869-1948
"I want to realize brotherhood or identity not merely with the beings called human, but I want to realize identity with all life, even with such things as crawl upon earth."
Quoted in Words of Gandhi

Professor J. Howard Moore 1862-1916
"We think of our acts towards non-human peoples, when we think of them at all, entirely from a human point of view. We never take the time to put ourselves in the places of our victims. We never take the trouble to get over into their world and realize what is happening over there as a result of our doings toward them. It is so much more comfortable not to do so - so much more comfortable to be blind and deaf and insane. We go on quieting our consciences, as best we can, by the fact that everybody else nearly, is engaged in the same business as we are, and by the fact that so few ever say anything about the matter - anaesthetized, as it were, by the universality of our iniquities and the infrequency of disquieting reminders."
The Universal Kinship

Pythagoras 6th Century B.C.
"As long as man continues to be the ruthless destroyer of lower living beings, he will never know health or peace. For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed he who sows the seed of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love."
Attributed (Ovid)

Thomas A. Edison 1847-1931
"Non-violence leads to the highest ethics, which is the goal of all evolution. Until we stop harming all other living beings, we are still savages."
Harper's Magazine, 1890

Francis of Assisi 1181-1226
"Not to hurt our humble brethren is our first duty to them, but to stop there is not enough. We have a higher mission - to be of service to them whenever they require it.

"If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men."
Quoted in the Life by St. Bonaventura
